Donald Trump - a Democratic Party Asset

Last edited Wed Jul 15, 2015, 10:54 AM - Edit history (1)

A week or so ago I received an email requesting that I sign a petition asking a major corporation to break its ties with Donald Trump because of all of the really obnoxious and mostly false comments he made about illegal immigrants. I refused the request, though certainly not because I agreed with his comments; I certainly do not. I just didn’t want to be part of anything which would keep the Donald from continuing to spew his venom. I think the Donald Trump is an asset for the ultimate Democratic Party nominee both now and in the General Election even though he has virtually no chance of winning the Republican nomination.

he's an asset, mainly for keeping the pukey Repukes out of the limelight by stealing the show.

After all he's made multiple donations to Hillary Clinton's campaign, made donations to her foundation and she attended the 2005 wedding to his most recent wife

And as a business person he has a lot contributed to Democrats because they rule his home state of NY.

While his unfavorable ratings will make it almost impossible for him to ever be President, this poll shows that a very large segment of the Republican voters agree with bombastic rhetoric and that is not going to go over well the centralist voters who will decide the election. The Donald just became an even better asset for us. I can only hope that over time he does even better.

He's a one-man wrecking ball for the GOP.

Carry on, Rump.

(That assumes he's really serious about it all, which I doubt. But I guess we'll see as soon as the deadlines for financial disclosure draw near.)

....serious about running for President to continue with the demolition of the other Republican candidates. I can't figure out if he just enjoys the publicity (which is true in any case) or is he really so full of himself that he thinks he would be a good President.
