Harry Reid Slams Entire GOP Over 'Disgusting' Donald Trump Remarks

WASHINGTON -- Senate Minority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) slammed not just Donald Trump but the rest of the Republican Party Wednesday over the wealthy businessman's anti-Mexican slurs.

Trump has repeatedly described undocumented immigrants from Mexico as "rapists" and "drug dealers," adding, "Some, I assume are good people.”

After calling Trump's comments "distasteful, disgusting," Reid went further, hammering his GOP colleagues in the Senate and on the campaign trail for not denouncing the remarks.

"Frankly, I'm terribly disappointed that my Republican colleagues here in leadership positions in the Senate and those running for president have basically kept their mouths shut," Reid told reporters. "I think that's unfortunate and I think that speaks of where the Republican Party is today."

One Republican senator running for president, Florida's Marco Rubio, has condemned Trump's comments, as has another candidate, former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush.

But Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.) was captured on video avoiding the topic and Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) has said Trump should not apologize.

6. There already are a bunch of donald trump pinatas out there BUT

if we dems do nothing or very little to get out the Hispanic vote we could really get screwed for no reason.

I was very much bummed to find out that anti republican talk show host Fernando Espuelas was taken off Univision radio owned by nbc. He slammed republicans daily for their right wing anti Latino anti LGBT pro banker policies in English and Spanish. Espuelas would always talk about how the republican congressional politicians would say one thing in the communities then would go to DC and say racist anti Hispanic diatribes. I hope Fernando finds his way back into the media in a popular way. His voice is needed.

I hope that in a year and a half people will remember donald trump and what he said. The election is a long time away and we will need lots of boots on the ground.

7. CNN talking heads insist: Trump has "opened up" the discussion on immigration...meaning he has

opened it up to....racists?!

CNN. Not racist, but #2 with racists.
The fact the talking heads have been ordered to never even whisper at the Senate-passed immigration bill that is being refused a vote in the House, all of that must NOT be mentioned.

Is there any TV news that is not any longer propaganda from the rich and privileged?
