If Cosby was white, a B actor and moralized publically about other's behavior...

Would the press and justice dept.s have given him the same pass for inviting, drugging, raping, sodomizing women without their consent the same pass Cosby's gotten? Yes, he could afford high priced lawyers. I think this is because of power and too many lose their covers.

He has friends in high places. He controls the destiny of many people hoping to "make it" in the entertainment world. Not much of a mystery why it took so long for women to come forward.

No one can do anything now unless more recent allegations come to light.

Jimmy Page abducted and kept a teen hostage as a sex slave

Motley Crue admit to raping a groupie in a closet

and both get fawning coverage to this day from Rolling Stone and the entertainment press, with their crimes excused with a shrug as "rock and roll bad boy" antics.

It would be possible. There are very few actors/performers with such an affable screen personality in everything they did. Then beyond that, he appearing the same in real life, advocated for many many things.

The sad thing is that he was acting out his one personality from fiction in what speared to us to be real life. I guess, beyond black or white, it should teach us that people can edit their public persona for years.

In some ways one of the weirdest things is that he admitted this all a decade ago and people who knew ALL Stayed silent. Pretty creepy as many of these girls must have really been hurt and did not think they would be believed.

Or Roman Polanski? I would love to hold them to the same standard.

Lots of people think the media has been too eager to scrutinize Cosby without holding white offenders accountable on the same level to their alleged misdeeds.

I would like to see more women listened to about rape, no matter what their race and social stature.
