A man accused of killing nine people in a shooting rampage at a historic South Carolina church has been indicted on three additional attempted murder counts, authorities said Tuesday.
Dylann Roof, previously been charged with nine counts of murder and one weapon offense. is accused in the June 17 massacre at Charleston's predominantly black Mother Emanuel A.M.E. Episcopal Church. The victims had been taking part in an evening Bible study, and Roof apparently joined them for several minutes before he drew a gun and began shooting.
