Walter Reed Medical Center On Lockdown After Reported Shooting (American Exceptionalism?)
They are still investigating. No word yet on whether it was American exceptionalism in action or if it was just a firecracker.

BETHESDA, Md., July 6 (UPI) -- The Walter Reed National Military Medical Center campus in Bethesda, Md., was locked down by Montgomery County Police due to reports of a single shot fired.
"All base personnel are sheltering in place as a result of unconfirmed reports of an active shooter," the Navy said in a statement, according to ABC News. "DOD Security Force, NIH Police Force and County EMS and Medics have responded and searching the area."
Montgomery County Police Capt. Paul Starks confirmed that it was a sound similar to gunfire, but could not yet confirm if it was a gunshot. Employees were alerted of the lockdown via text message.
