You have to wonder if he actually thinks most people care about any of that stuff.

And except for the most superficial and gullible, nobody does.

The sad part is that people do care about Donald Trump claiming to have multiple cars, houses, buildings, and businesses. That has made Donald Trump a best selling author. People buy his books because they think he can tell them how to do what he did. The same thing happens for many other people who write books and hold seminars that claim to tell people how to get rich. Are you aware that there is a guy who charges people $46,000 to attend a seminar on how to flip houses. That price tag come after people have already spent around $2,000-$10,000 on two previous seminars. In addition, some people go into debt in order to get the money to pay to attend those seminars. People would not pay those amounts money if they did not care about the cars, houses, buildings, and businesses that people like Donald Trump claim to own.

Donald Trump is always telling people of his supposed success because he knows that media does a poor job of debunking his claims. As a result, there are always people willing to buy the books he writes, watch the shows in which he stars, and buy the products he claims to sell. Trump realizes for every person like you, who know he is largely just blowing smoke, there are millions more wilingl to give all their retirement savings to Trump thinking he will make them many times as much as they are giving him.
