in my travels. It was the site of the Battle of Philips Corner, so I had to look it up.

A group of men from Lenawee County led by the Sheriff meet a group from Ohio there. Seems they both turned and retreated upon contact and was the only battle listed, with no injuries reported.

it appears that neither state came out on top. Scott Walker vs Rick Snyder. Looks like a lose/lose situation.
