Bristol Palin: Just Kidding, My Pregnancy Was Actually Planned

So, maybe the Snowbunny will run after all. Just to make it clear, I care not one way or the other if this pregnancy was planned. Cudos to Bristol, if she can raise a couple kids as a single mom. Not that it should be as difficult for her with Sarah's income, and all. I just find it odd that the story seems to have changed.

"This article, Bristol Palin: Just Kidding, My Pregnancy Was Actually Planned, originally appeared on TVGuide.com.

Less than 48 hours after posting a less-than-joyous pregnancy announcement on her personal blog, Bristol Palin is now reversing course and saying that the pregnancy was totally planned.

"So here are the things you should all get straight before you continue to mock me, judge me, and talk about me," Palin wrote on Sunday, in a post titled "My Little Blessing." "None of us are perfect. I made a mistake, but it's not the mistake all these giddy a--holes have loved to assume. This pregnancy was actually planned."

The former Dancing with the Stars contestant's short-lived reality show, Bristol Palin: Life's a Tripp, aired on Lifetime in 2012, documenting her life as a single mother raising her son, Tripp..."

Hey! That's a good one. That's how I'm going to start referring to his ridiculous wrong-wing magazine from now on. He was the one who spotted her and brought her to the attention of the mccain campaign. He was SOOOOOO impressed. Wonder if he, too, stood there sneaking sidelong looks at her backside while fiddling with his wedding ring the way mccain did, out in public, onstage in front of the cameras and microphones, immediately after announcing her to the world as his running mate.

bill kristol's taste is straight up his ass. Let's never forget how everything he's said about anything has been WRONG WRONG WRONG. A lot of the smooth-talkin' nice-soundin' promises and assurances about how no-muss/no-fuss/no-hassle/no-cost the Iraq War was going to be came from him, too. Especially since he got more face-time than just about anybody else outside bush/cheney inc.

Mon Jun 29, 2015, 11:26 AM

is what's generally the truth.

Exactly as it was recently with jeb bush on the Iraq War - his FIRST response was the money one. That he would have done the same thing his brother did. THAT'S the one you could take to the bank. Then he waffled and tap-danced and two-stepped throughout that week, trying to thread the needle so it didn't seems as though he was gonna do that after all (and it's safe to go ahead and vote for him. Just take his word for it!).

Exactly as nikki haley did with her crocodile tears late on that Wednesday night a couple of weeks ago immediately after the massacre. Q: What about taking down that flag, governor? A: Oh well, that's part of our heritage and that's who we are and well we can't do that; it means too much to too many people in this state... And then five days later there she is with her allegedly-changed tune that the flag is indeed gonna come down. Yeah, sure! They're even gonna bring it up in the state legislature. They're gonna talk about it. They're gonna bring it up for discussion. They're gonna... yeah, sure, nikki. I'll believe it when I see it. Your tap-dancing and two-stepping just sounds like another delaying tactic to me.

I've taken some heat and some lovely little insults about that here. And I really don't have time to get into head-to-head arguments with other brothers and sisters here that take up a bunch of increasingly heated and nasty real estate in some thread here.

Well, fine, South Carolina has its own legislative procedures about how things get done. Governor doesn't have the same powers the Alabama governor did - he said the flag comes down and that's exactly what happened, straight away, and he doesn't have to wait for the legislature. Yeah, I get that.

Well, EVEN IF THAT IS NOT HOW IT WORKS IN SOUTH CAROLINA, I'm not convinced. nikki-baby could be out there, USING HER LEADERSHIP POSITION to hustle that change along. GET UP THERE IN FRONT OF THOSE CAMERAS AND MICROPHONES and publicly nag the legislature EVERY DAMN DAY. Make an issue of it. Make a stink out of it. Publicly ask why they're not at it TODAY. NOW. THIS MINUTE? Put them on the spot for every hour they're choosing NOT to deal with it or NOT to get to it or NOT to have enough time for it. Procedure SHMOcedure. If you really agree it has to change, and if indeed your state laws and constitution stipulate that the legislature's got this one, and you as governor can't act unilaterally (well, that hasn't stopped our President, thank goodness!), why aren't you using your job title and your state-wide bully pulpit to nag them and shame them and pester them til they get off their asses and actually get something done about it? WHERE ARE YOU, nikki haley? We haven't heard squat from ol' nikki-baby about any of that since last Monday. If she really agrees that the flag should come down, then she should be out there, loudly and repeatedly, pushing them and pressuring them to make this change and take that damn flag down, in front of EVERY camera and EVERY microphone that so frequently likes to pay attention to her because she's glib, easy on the eyes, and she photographs well.

If she doesn't want all this "unwanted attention," why is she sticking her neck out and making herself a public spectacle like this. You can't do that - or keep doing that - and then complain about the attention it gets you with any credibility. It's one thing to be targeted for derision. It's another when you yourself willingly put that target on as part of your clothing when you get dressed every morning.

42. Why? She invited us into her 2nd pregnancy with the twitter
Mon Jun 29, 2015, 11:50 AM
Jun 2015

If she didn't want us to know she could have simply kept it private.

Never saw Chelsea Clinton have kids out of wedlock. Heck even the Bush girls managed to get married first before popping out kids and I don't think either of those girls were spokeswomen for Abstinence-Only programs. And you know if either of Obama's girls were pregnant they would be ruthlesses trashed in the media.

I'm no saint and I'm not one to judge. But I have alway pushed for sex education with our children and a smart family planning program like Planned Parenthood that ensured anyone would have access to reliable, safe birth control. I feel a combination of these 2 things means the number of abortions would naturally decline.

But Sarah Palin and her ilk have no problem passing moral judgement on other people and their kids who have children out of wedlock. They mock minorities who are single mothers trying to make ends meet raising their kids and deny these women any options such as affordable or even free birth control.

Bristol Palin is an adult. She is the dummy who made that first twitter calling her current condition a 'huge disappointment'. Perhap the smartest thing that Ms. Palin could do is shut down her social media account, resign from whatever spokesperson roles she might have and just raise her babies in privacy. If she choose to do that then I would respect it and stay out of it. But she invited us in so she needs to realize that she may get people showing up she doesn't want.

Nowadays it's pretty common for a no-longer-together (or never together) couple to have a child and raise him/her as equal parents. A real man would acknowledge his child and announce that he plans to be an active, involved father.
Which leaves 2 possibilities--her ex-fiancé is the biggest kind of pond scum on this earth, a sperm donor who has no intention of raising the child he give life to--or it's not his kid.
