It almost felt bad to me to be so happy. One moment in great elation, the next in tears. Let us not forget the tears of others.

We need to heed the president's words as he commented on the great decision for equality. Now we must turn and extend a hand to those behind, whose equality still is not yet secured in so many ways. The battle for equality is never over.
