GOTV in 2016! Nothing is More Important!
This week's SCOTUS decisions should make it absolutely clear that our next President will have extremely important SCOTUS appointments to make. We must elect a Democrat as President. But that's not enough. Every SCOTUS appointment must be confirmed by the Senate.
In 2014, we lost the majority in the Senate. We must get that back, and work toward a majority in the House of Representatives. How do we do that? We do it by turning out a historic percentage of Democratic voters in November of 2016. It is that simple. We can make enormous inroads into Democratic control of Congress with that GOTV effort.
This will be a crucial election year. We must demonstrate our commitment to progress by helping every eligible Democratic voter to get to the polls and cast their vote. And the time to start is NOW!
