Yes we can! Yes we did!
I came across the 2008 "Yes We Can" music video the other day. This week's supreme court decisions highlight that fact that Obama really has turned "yes we can" but "yes we did". People have access to healthcare. The economy is back on track. And now gay marriage is the law of the land. None of this would have happened with McCain.
Just a reminder, that, yeah, politics is tough and incremental and unsatisfying at times, but we have made progress. Let's get a Dem elected in 2016, and keep this movement in the right direction going.
