I was even starting to believe the lie, myself.
I started to think the youngest generation is less racist, percentage wise, than before, and that may not be true as it turns out.

A hoot and holler from the kazillion Amazon customers would "take down that flag" in a New York minute. Maybe.
Note: we are so focused on the depradations of "corporations" here that we fail to include in that category all of the tech sector, including retail, in our thoughts. Watch out: this very powerful bloc of the industry is exerting tremendous force on our politics.

This made a beautiful, soft, colorful lining for the presentation case the missus made when we gave our deeply disturbed son a Glock .45 on his eighteenth birthday. He really wanted a grenade launcher wrapped in a Nazi flag, but we're still saving up for that.

(10,201 posts)Q: is this made in america?
A: Because it is so important to have a treasonous symbol made in the country the treason was against?
Q: Is this flag flammable? I'm worried it will be damaged if near a burning cross.
A: Don't put your flag to close to your cross while it's burning.... normally we ignite the cross then hold the flag and chant in the street. About 10 to 15 feet from the cross. It's never caught fire from there. Hope this helps.

Look for these things at an inflated price at a flea market near you.

(60 posts)it's time to take the next step: Destroy every Confederate flag that isn't in a museum of some sort. In addition, the public display of a Confederate flag anywhere in the United States should be made illegal.
But what are we going to be able to do about statues honoring the traitors who served in the Confederate Army? And how about the statues of them -- even outside the South? Then there's the problem of military bases named in "honor" of Confederate generals.

(20,166 posts)I'm glad to see the flag meeting its demise in some public areas, but knowing the types of people who revere it, there's also going to be a huge cottage industry that's going to emerge around independently merchandising it.
Expect to see more of it on bumper stickers, shirts, etc.
