http://www.gaystarnews.com/article/mike-huckabee-compares-accepting-gay-marriage-accepting-slavery-urges-civil-disobedience2206Former Arkansas governor Mike Huckabee is urging his fellow social conservatives to wage 'civil disobedience' if the US Supreme Courts makes same-sex marriage legal nationwide.
The Republican presidential hopeful is comparing the upcoming marriage ruling - if it makes gay marriage legal - to the Dred Scott decision in 1857. That was when an enslaved man sued for his freedom and the high court ruled African-Americans could not be US citizens and therefore not be able to sue.
The Dred Scott decision is widely regarded as the worst Supreme Court decision in history and spurred vehement dissent from anti-slavery elements and proved, at least indirectly, to be a catalyst for the Civil War....
'What if the entire country had capitulated to judicial tyranny and we just said that because the Supreme Court said in 1857 said that a black person wasnt fully human? Suppose we had accepted that, suppose Abraham Lincoln, our president, had accepted that, would that have been the right course of action?'

We really, really need an analogue to Godwin's Law for creeps like this who compare <insert issue here> to slavery.

Accepting people to have equal rights is the equivalent to accepting people don't have equal rights?! I think the take away is this:
'What if the entire country had capitulated to judicial tyranny and we just said that because the Supreme Court said in 1857 said that a black person wasnt fully human
He is basically saying, IMO, GLB people aren't fully human.
