The flag issue is not new. Dems have been trying to take it down for years and Haley fully supported it. In the 2014 debates, she defended it by saying, in reply to a direct question, that "no CEO has complained " So don't pretend she wasn't being pushed into this.

I don't think that alone makes her VP material. She has a dubious history with civil rights and voting rights.

Haley had a rambunctious sexual affair while married that caught a shitload of buzz. There were "sexts" involved, maybe pictures...proof of some "digital" sort, in any event.

The details are vague, but google does help...she would not survive the vetting process.

12. Not so fast

Nikki Haley still has a lot to answer too, this wasn't the first time someone brought up the confederate flag over the capital. The only reason she's taking it down now is because of the murders of 9 people and the ensuing backlash of what the flag represents and the stain on the memories of those that were killed. You can be sure if it wasn't for these murders, it would still be flying.
