List of monuments and memorials of the Confederate States of America

This doesn't include, of course, all the public buildings and streets named for Confederate heroes.

So it's okay somehow to make perpetual heroes of the people who fought a war to keep slavery legal in the South.

Just because . . .

ON EDIT: This turns out to be an incomplete list. For example, there is a whole book written on monuments in South Carolina alone:

https://www.sc.edu/uscpress/books/2012/6745.html

Beginning with the Abbeville County monument and ending with the York County monument, Seigler spans the multiple locales of South Carolina, including all Confederate monuments located on courthouse lawns, town squares, cemeteries, churchyards, public parks, and markers commemorating military combatants and civilian participants of the state.

Almost every county courthouse has one or monuments of the Civil war.
Plus monuments of WW 1 and 2.
Ala. has 67 counties.
