Bernie Sander's Msg Correct. But It Is Labeled As UnAmerican & Too Marxist For US.

Bernie Sander's campaign is reminiscent of the 1932 presidential campaign when so many progressive and even socialistic ideas we moving forward in the debate. Bernie faces the same kind of opposition that Roosevelt did in 1932. Equality of working people (the proletariat) is too communistic for the country. Capitalism and income inequality is the natural order of things for the economic royalists of the time and the same economic royalists of today.

Fox News and Roger Ailes is the Randolph Hearst of the 21st century. Fox is more prevalent because it appears everywhere 24/7 in many public places and is more ubiquitous than newspapers could ever be. And with a silent and even cooperative MSM the effect is even more profound. The fact that many places in the US hear only one RW message, the populace has as much fear about socialist and communism as in the 1930's even though Sander's message is correct.

Being that a populist message is also framed as totally pro minority with plenty of racist code, that frame plays right into the old memes that supported confederacy in the first place.

We can only hope the voters wake up to the reality of our situation. Only time will tell.
