considering the flowers are made from sea grass, the same material used by the Basket Ladies to make the famous and unique Charleston baskets. A friend of mine made one for me when I retired from the Charleston Navy Hospital. It is among my most prized posessions. Thanks for posting.

I was wondering about the flowers. They are beautiful, but obviously had an innate meaning that I was unaware of.

a "kid" is a reichwing tactic to make him seem less lethal and ugly than he really is. just as the reverse was true in portraying trayvon martin (legally a minor) as a "hulked up man"
