Virginia man threatens black church one day after Charleston massacre: ‘I’m gonna kill all you’

The man called the worshippers “n-----s” and said, “I’m gonna kill all you and all you are gonna get killed tonight” and “You’re taking over,” church members said.

After the Richmond congregation locked the man out, a security officer drew her gun on him and held him until police arrived. It’s unclear if he will face any charges, police said.

Those in the church believed the man was armed with a knife or machete, but police determined he had "a big piece of plastic that looked like a weapon," Gleason told the News.

1. Machetes are very easy to buy

in this case it might have been plastic, but next time someone might to buy one for real. They are pretty dull blades, but when sharpened it could potentially be a very dangerous weapon. At this point I don't think gun control is enough to stop this particular brand of hate.

Secondly, I am not a sir.

What I actually said was that gun control isn't enough, not fuck gun control. Obviously guns are more dangerous, but you can still hurt people without one if you want to badly enough. Americans also need to be educated so that they aren't ignorant enough to want to hurt somebody in the first place. I support gun control, but it's not going to make racism magically disappear. Especially as long as the police still have weapons.
