He kept emphasizing that the shooter wasn't from Charleston
and went on and on about what a good place Charleston was,
how people of all races are grieving, and how the community
is healing.

I'd say he's a good tool.

It took him five days, but I think we know he's on the right side. Get outside the city limits though, and people seem less favorable.
