the crowd was energized tonight and people got to their feet many times during his speech. he used the words grotesque and immoral when speaking of wealth inequality. he said we accepted the hatred from the banking industry with joy. he blasted republicans on "family values" and their lack thereof.
it was also wonderful to meet laffy kat. i've only met a few other duers and it's always nice to be able to put a person to the screen name.

Not only did I get to meet and hang out with fizzgig, the event was electrifying. Such good vibes from the crowd. It really exceeded expectations. Now I have to figure out how to get to sleep so I can get up at 5:00 a.m. for work. I'm still way too charged.

on Sunday morning, here in my chair in my computer room, I was jumping up and down and cheering him on...hard not to, as the enthusiasm is contagious!!
The Washington Post story is actually pretty good, despite the fact that they didn't totally account for the vast numbers who showed up.
