Another advantage for Bernie. Better in the general.

The conventional formula for Dem prez candidates is to lean to the left in the primaries and then head to the center in the general election period. I believe Hillary will do that and get dinged by her opponent in the general.

Bernie will not be vulnerable in the general in debates, etc., because he will be the same except he will become even more powerful when confronting a Republican apologist. Reagan, an ideologue on the opposite side of the spectrum, was able to do that and many Americans, unfortunately tended to perceive him to be authentic in 1980. Bernie will also get that benefit, but while telling the truth. This prophetic take down of Alan Greenspen is illustrative:

Hillary could certainly win this election but she's going to have to go against her $ supporters. I'm not certain she can do that.

Bernie was very generous to call him an honest man, especially since the first response out of Greenspan's mouth was a lie.

but totally deluded ideologue. Greenspan was actually an early devotee of Ayn Rand, I kid you not. He maintained that relationship for decades. He really has no grasp of reality.

Yeah, Greenspan is a liar. But I do think he believed a lot of that delusionary stuff.

to economist Greenspan. That's what he lied about for the TV cameras.

It's similar to Republican members of Congress who, during the days when Obamacare was under consideration, kept saying we have the best medical care in the world. They knew better. It was a Big Lie move to fool voters and it was very intentional.

BTW, it was not any part of my intent to get you.

NOT Clinton or Bush...or not the same old same old crew that has failed them for decades now.

The disaffected voter faced with a choice between Clinton or Bush will likely say fuck it and stay home.

to expect a record low turnout for a presidential election, with the edge going slightly to Bush (simply because the types who would vote for him are more defined by hatred than by ideology).

Some of those who didn't immediately defriend me even agreed.
