Abused Kitten Passes Away, And Vet Films His Brokenhearted Response

(in Spanish, but the language of his pain is universal)

This vet recorded an incredible tribute to one of his tiniest patients.

Broken, the kitten, arrived at Carlos Rodriguez's veterinary practice last week after being abused by a group of children. They had thrown and kicked the little kitten around like a ball, leaving her with terrible injuries.

They broke her femur and completely destroyed her abdominal wall — the first time Rodriguez had ever seen such damage.

Sadly, after a week of treatment and multiple surgeries, Broken passed away. And Rodriguez captured his incredible response on camera.

The video isn't in English, but his message is perfectly clear.

What a beautiful soul...would that all vets had this same love and devotion for their patients.

May the evil kids that did this reap what they so viciously sowed.

We have had a dog come to us as a rescue who has bbs in his leg and a healed burn on his back that is the size of my fist.

America where is your heart? Your soul? What do you value and protect most? Have we become as violent and evil as our sociopathic leaders?

Cruelty is universal, sadly. No country has the monopoly.

Could be from Spain? Unless there are other clues that I missed.

This is the kind of compassion that we should be seeing from adults.

I DID suspect he sounded more Spanish than Latin American, but didn't want to sound silly.

As I listened to him in the first video, I was struck by what he said could be applied to the deaths in North Carolina.

Even the mixed-up, twisted kids who did this, I'm sure.
