the straws that the anti-Democracy folks keep rolling out against Sanders. They claim to want a primary, but only if Hillary wins it.

He is a viable candidate - and that is scaring the shit out of the corporate wing of the party.

The corporate candidate might just not be the shoo-in they thought she would be. It's 2008 all over again.

No other smears to offer? If that is the worst you have, you'd best step up your game, because that is deterring exactly no one.

Don't know when they have those ready, but you can listen to the audio of the show using any podcast app for free. Seems to me that by Monday the previous Friday's show is up. Maybe sooner.

8. Maher shortchanged Bernie

Women are gonna vote for him in droves - those who are concerned about equal pay, those who want affordable day care and college for their kids, those who want medical coverage, those who maybe want to work one job instead of two, those women who love other women, those who want reproductive rights intact, those who would like to see the minimum wage raised, to name a few.

I'm glad he had Bernie on his show = more young people will see him, but Maher is still a little too snarky about Bernie's candidacy for my taste.

Thanks very much for posting, madfloridian.

I only watch the parts I want to watch. Quit watching Bill Maher years ago for that reason.

That video really cut off suddenly.

Maher used to be a libertarian, but he self-identifies as a liberal these days. If you have been watching Real Time for the last few years, the shift has been evident, and, I believe, genuine.

I think the Hillary camp is/has vastly overplayed and overestimated the gender card. I am actually offended by the assertion that I would vote for Hillary just because we are both women. That is ridiculous, and yes, shortchanges us all.

Maher was very snarky, and his remarks were, IMO, fairly sexist, but Bernie calmly went ahead and shone. Lots of applause.

Sanders had a couple of good lines, but I thought he seemed a little off. His laughing seemed awkward. Maybe he wasn't sure how light-hearted he should be. His bit about Saudi Arabia and ISIS fell flat.

I am a huge Sanders supporter so I say this as constructive criticism. I do worry a little bit about his charisma. Honesty and a good message may not be enough for him to win.

I just had a touch of worry. As I said, Bernie seemed a little off in the interview, and I've seen him be more natural in other settings.

Unfortunately, Ann Coulter was his walk on guest,
and just seeing her makes me want to puke.
She got schooled by the panel,
but Coulter doesn't mind negative publicity...in fact,
her career is based on it.

The best thing the Liberal Community could do is simply ignore the harpy from Fox.
(But here I am introducing her into this thread about Bernie.)
I couldn't help it. I needed to get her out of my system after seeing her "performance" last night.
Ugly.....uglier than ugly.
Sometimes, people like Coulter get to live Rent Free in my head unless I have a DU Exorcism.
