After reports surfaced that Rupert Murdoch planned to step down as head of media giant 21st Century Fox, many were left to wonder where the shakeup would leave Fox News Channel and its longtime head, Roger Ailes. ....

But Ailes, the evil genius behind Fox News, was said to be left unaffected by the change, somehow managing to continue to report to Murdoch directly despite his impending departure.

The Fox boss now has to report to Murdoch's children, both of whom he has sparred with in the past and who have reportedly signaled their distaste for Ailes' brand of toxic programming.

James and Lachlan Murdoch run in different circles than Rupert. Fox News is an embarrassment to them. Ailes being a grade A asshole doesn't help. Imagine trying to get your groove on in Paris a people keep bugging you about your clown network with the "no go zones". Next thing you know you're on the cover of Charlie Hebdo sucking Sheldon Adelson's d*ck. To them Fox News as it is is more trouble than it's worth. Rupert and Ailes are from a different generation. Their era is over.
