There are some people that refuse to change.

One is the confederate flag and the other is the Washington Redskins football name. And the people that refuse to change them are the southern folks that believe in states rights and southern pride and the other is Dan Snyder and people that support his team.

How fucking ignorant do you have to be if one of them hurts African-Americans because of it's symbolism of southern slavery and the other one hurts Native-Americans because of it's stereotype and the demeaning nature of the name and graphic that represents the Redskins.

Yet, the citizens that back these vile symbols of hatred will fight tooth and nail to protect them because of "free speech", something or other.

It never ceases to surprise me the length that these morans will go to to keep themselves ignorant.

the south. I was just making comparisons between the confederate flag and the redskins. Both of which are hate-filled.

But DC is a southern city, even though nobody thinks of it as such. DC and the surrounding state of Maryland are below the Mason-Dixon line and therefore are in the South.
