PBS Now Showing, FREEDOM SUMMER 1964

In 1964, students join with organizers & local Blacks to create Freedom Schools.

Very interesting piece. Interviews, photos & documents the power of organizing in the Civil Rights Era.

Worth watching or recording for later.

Edit: Addresses Imbeded White Supremacy, voter blocking & some amazing stories from those who recall the events of that time.

I watch this show & realize that what the GOP White Supremacist Party did then, they still do today.
