I think you very likely see what you want to see.

Those eyes show quite different degrees of energy, interest, and perhaps inebriation

I don't see anything "dead" about the first pair of eyes either. His expression is goofy as all get out, but I would hardly call that "dead eyes".

There are always people who think they know something about people by the way they look. Kinda ironic in this context, actually.

Aside from which, someone who is looking directly into the lens of a camera is not looking at a person. Our faces react to other faces.

But, yeah, "Go away" is pretty much the standard response on DU to any reply seeking conversation.

You are looking back at people who you know are mass killers and not of a mixture of people before knowing any are killers.

It already came out this new shooter abused prescription medication like xanax and was even on other anti-psychotics and ssri medication.

Ofcourse they dont make a big deal about the prescription drugs these mass shooters are on because it would be bad news for the corporate pharmaceutical companies that pay for all the advertising to the media outlets and campaign donations to the politicians.

with "I can't grasp this yet. Glad to be here with you at DU. " It is too much, isn't it. So much sadness and pain.
