Msg On Free Trade. American Workers Make TOO MUCH MONEY To Compete Globally.

American workers must understand that the rhetoric about good jobs is just PLAIN BULLSHIT. I worked for DOL for 24 years and all free trade has meant during my career is that American workers are paid too much money and have too many rights and benefits. Despite all the crap about good jobs that politicians harp on, the business community will NEVER create enough of them for enough workers. In order to be competitive with the global economy our wages MUST FALL to make our good competitive. The laid in cost of a pair of shoes made overseas is so low even minimum wage is TOO HIGH when made by American workers.

And look at all the immigration visa workers who are REPLACING hard working Americans with wages as low as 1/2 of what an American workers. It is not the I am anti immigration because I think American workers come first. How many war veterans are denied jobs because it is easier and cheaper to hire a recent immigrant under the H1B program. Business wants UNLIMITED immigration visas for jobs Americans won't do. The problem is that the jobs pay so little that Americans can't do them unless they have two or three of them.

AMERICAN WORKERS NEED TO WAKE UP FOR CHRIST'S SAKE ABOUT THE WORK CREATION FRAUD pushed by our politicians. And TPP is just another round of selling out Americans even to our potential enemies. And the real condition of the labor market is being kept secret.

and is uncompetitive. CEO's and their ilk need to have their compensation slashed by 90+% to make US goods competitive.

unions so workers don't have collective bargaining rights. Yeah, what you say is the sad truth - plutocrats want ALL of us to work for a few cents a day and don't care about if we live or die. ALL this rah rah bullshit about free trade making higher paying jobs is the SAME bullshit republicans push about tax breaks for fictional 'job creators'.

Has had access to about 25% of the world's energy for a long time. That's not really fair either.

It's a finite planet. We can't have everything. If we're going to have the kind of immigration that we do, that just adds to the supply of people. The more people you have access to, the cheaper they will be when you have to pay them. I know we're talking about people and not TV's or shoes or whatever, but basic math still applies. If the planet is finite, then we cannot have everything we want.

The big battle is of course, who gets to divide up the pie, and how do they do it. Which is a very difficult question to ask, and has even more complicated solutions.
