Who put this crap in this kid's head and told him it was right?
Who told him that his confederate license plate was cool?
Who told him black people were raping "our" women?
Who supported him in his "conservative" outlook (this according to his friends)?
When are people going to start demanding accountability from hate radio?

And let's not get into goofball low-SES Southern naming traditions.
My suspicion is that he'll be found to be a sympathizer with groups but that he won't have had much to do with any of them.
The real question I'd want answered is, Why did he pick that particular church? Because of the senator? Because it was historic? Because it was far from home? Or did he just get in his car, drive, and stop in at a church at random--only to find that instead of killing the pastor or one person there was a meeting going on?
(I'm also a bit curious as to why he waited for a while before doing what he did. The Living Church of God massacre a decade ago didn't get off to that slow a start. Rage tends to act impetuously.)

I have been talking about how symbolic the choice of this old historic black church was. He also had the flag symbols from two white supremacist countries on his jacket. Why not a name that refers symbolically to a fascist white supremacist site on the web?

(81,332 posts)I see people fuming with hate - check out lines that are too slow - road rage - opportunities to tell anyone available their list of hates.
We must address the hatred that is passing for news and the hatred circulating on the internet. It is brainwashing.

(65,616 posts)All this garbage about him having 'real conservative views' was just code for 'hates everyone not lilly white'. Republicans are such sad people - they have NO IDEA what real conservation in about.
They, as usual, take words and use them like weapons to scare their brain dead audience into submission.
