nobody here watches the president or, at least, cares to comment. This thread (and another) have been up for nearly an hour, with zero comments. (Compare to endless threads on other, less notable subjects).

It makes me a bit sad. Because that was an important, heartfelt commentary on both violence in America, on race in America, and on the implicit relationship of the two.

At any rate, the silence on this is ... well, troubling.
