The parents I know like the idea of common core, but feel it's badly implemented. There is also the underlying problem of No Child's Behind Left Untouched.

Sanders talks more about higher education than K12 schooling. Aside from voting against an anti-Common Core amendment back in March, he hasnt said anything about the controversial standards. And I couldnt find any reference to school choice. Nevertheless, he hasnt been silent:
