No one says it better than NanceGreggs! Luv ya Nance!

http://www.democratsforprogress.com/category/nancerants/

This one is one of my favorites.

ODS – Obama Derangement Syndrome

If Obama makes a speech about a specific issue, he’s just spewing pretty words. If Obama doesn’t speak on a specific issue, he’s trying to hide something. Or he should have spoken about something else entirely, because when he gets specific about one issue, that means he’s ignoring all of the really important issues he should be speaking about – those issues being whatever it was he didn’t mention.

If Obama did it, it must have been the wrong thing to do. When it turns out to have been the right thing to do, then Obama never did it. And if he did do it, he did it the wrong way. It was too little, too late – or it was too much, too soon. It went too far – while, at the same time, it didn’t go far enough. And even if it turns out to have been right, it’s still wrong.

If Obama proposed it, it can’t possibly work. When it does work, it was somebody else’s idea all along, an idea he blatantly stole just to make himself look good. That’s because he knew it would work all along – even though it can’t possibly work.

If Obama stands firm, he is being stubborn. If he seeks compromise, he is caving. Obama should lead while following. He should be more hands-on while staying out of it completely. Why can’t he take the reins and do what must be done? Why can’t he mind his own goddamned business?

President, the problem is that anything he does, good or bad is met with resistance, mostly with republicans.

As to your comment about locking Pelosi out of further negotiations, that is between Pelosi and Boehner, not Obama.

Boehner is for fast track, but doesn't have the votes within his party, and the Democrats under Pelosi voted fast track down, so there is no point proceeding with it. You can call it a lock out, but it is they simply don't have the votes

And while I understand what you're saying about the "different issue", that's not how it's done here. There are people who WILL agree with the OP, and as a result WILL badmouth liberals on this site for some perceived sleight to Obama. You can take the high road and say this only applies to Republicans, but I saw long ago how the OP operates, and I'm not soliciting alternate histories at this time.

because I spoke with her tonight. She is one awesome woman. She recently lost her husband Jeff who posted here.

I am tired of the Obama hate from some here and in general the GOP. How dare a BLACK man take the WHITE House. Since he came into office the GOP set him up to fail. They plotted the night of his inauguration. McConnell said he would do anything in his power to make him a one term President.

Nothing. Nothing he has done is good enough. Never! The Op that Nance wrote. If he says yes, they say no.

Did you read the latest? Obama is now, after all his good work making women's lives matter, is now tossing them under the bus because of fast track. Seriously. He is tossing women and every middle class person under the fucking bus. Oh wait, he is screwing our environment as well.

That's what it seems to me, an attempt at immunization. But criticism is not always wrong or disingenuous.

"If Obama makes a speech about a specific issue, he’s just spewing pretty words."

Yes. Sometimes he is.

"If Obama did it, it must have been the wrong thing to do."

Yes, sometimes it is.

"If he seeks compromise, he is caving."

Sometimes it is.

Etc.

is just plain wrong, and that is what Obama wanted Pelosi to do.

The TPP is a failure I hope, I hope, I hope.

And if Obama sold himself to his law school buddy to get the TPP through Congress at the expense of seniors, your mom, your grandmother and eventually, you, then hey, too bad for him.

Obama should be defending the American people, not selling us out to the corporations.
