I mean, the working class hates her, and the 1%ers can see her at their $1,000 campaign events, so really, nobody will be coming....
...unless someone got their analysis wrong...

If you're going to post flamebait, do try and inject some truth and intelligence into it.
Btw, I hope everyone going has a great time and that it's safe and happy event.

(37,748 posts)It's fun to invent a premise based wholly on the fallacy reductio ad absurdum, pretend someone else actually said it, and then use it to argue against yourself. Petulant school children do that all the time, so there must be something fun and entertaining in doing so... maybe it's a sign of highly evolved and rational mind.

(51,076 posts)less than a day. I'd like to see how it goes, what kind of people attend etc.
I know there won't be very many of 'me' kind of people there so in that vein its already a failure. Yes I said that
I'm tired of the rich holding all the cards. I want to play some too
like I said we're fixing to find out
I will repeat I will vote and I will vote for the democratic nominee no matter who it is.
I take my voting privileges seriously and always have. I voted for a CON once but it was because I felt he was a friend and having known him I actually felt he was the better of the two candidates. All these decades later I still feel that same way

(20,411 posts)My favorite was the poster who loudly and proudly declared that NO WAY IS IT POSSIBLE FOR A DEM TO LOSE TO RAND PAUL. He mocked anyone and everyone that stated the possibility that Rand could pull off that election.
Then there were those who were convinced that not only would PBO win the 2012 election in a landslide, but that we would go on and sweep both houses.

(62,276 posts)Even with people who don't support her. Just people wanting to "be there."
NYC_SKP is probably right it'll be a circus for attendees. Just saying.
(Though I don't agree that's why the campaign chose the spot, should go well enough that it's not like, say, Obama's 2008 inauguration with regards to organization.)
