These kids are here to be seen AND heard

I just saw this Chris Hayes interview with Grace Stone.
I've seen a few other interviews of teens who were at the Craig Ranch pool that day, including Brandon Brooks, Tatiana Rose, and Dajerria Becton.
I applaud these kids so much because they appear to have behaved MUCH better than the adults involved in this situation.
I am glad they had the courage to speak out against adults who were acting like bigoted bullies. My generation is fond of "children are to be seen and not heard" (something I always loathed), but when elders aren't deserving of respect, I hope they always speak up against them.
In the McKinney, TX situation, every kid I've seen on video and being interviewed has been very respectful and, rightfully, expect to be treated with the same respect.
The dad (Donnie Stone) in this interview didn't even believe his daughter, defaulting to instead believe the police, until he started hearing the same story from other adults and then saw video evidence of what his daughter was telling him.
Get used to it, people. These kids have a voice and they're using it. And they have new technology to help prove their side of the story finally.
THEY ARE HERE TO BE SEEN AND HEARD. Thank Goodness!!!!

This is a good piece: "The only good news about the McKinney pool party is the white kids response to racism"
