USA Today: Texas teen who cop pulled gun on at pool party speaks

http://www.usatoday.com/videos/news/nation/2015/06/10/70997542/

Police made one arrest at the now viral McKinney, Texas pool party. That teen says he was scared and only tried to help calm the girl the officer threw on the ground. Adrian Martin, 18, was charged with interfering with police and evading arrest.

1. An arrest had to be made.

Making an arrest provided cover for the twelve bad cops who reacted with blatant racism to a fight started by white racists.

They never expected a viral video.

This kid was the designated scapegoat. Had there never been this video, this kid would end up with a record and possibly jail time.

hasn't been arrested. I saw a video of her jerking their heads around by the hair and then hitting them in their faces and heads.

How come she wasn't taken into custody. Just asking.

behavior is so bad that it is indefensible, then Why wouldn't one be afraid of being arrested by him and want to leave the area for his own safety?

the young man wanted to help this girl by trying to calm her, comfort her. I'd be proud of a son doing that.Yes, he took a risk to be kind to someone in need.

Made me want to dry heave.

Whomever said we've turned into a nation of sheep was spot on.

Basically never question authority figures...OBEY without questioning was my first impression of some of the comments made? !

Bow to the police state.

arguing and fighting with cops? You fight them in court not in the street. This is basic common sense.

9. In this case that means that you stand by and watch a policeman abuse a child and say nothing.

Because that is all the two young men were doing - telling her that they were calling her mother. They also told the policeman that he was hurting her. They in no way threatened that cop. Watch the video. When interviewed on Lawrence O show he was asked if they were going to sue for false arrest. He said no because he wanted to help the police force and the community find a better relationship. He also thanked the two policemen who pushed the crazy cop out to the way when he was chasing them with a gun

Exactly how far are they supposed to go in this "obedience"? Slaves are usually obedient.

I'm glad the charges against this chivalrous young man were dropped. He's a hero in my book.
