I don't think SCOTUS will gut the ACA

I have a hunch the Supreme Court is not going to gut the ACA. Chief Justice Roberts has shown he's concerned about how his court will go down in history and he doesn't want to be remembered as the Justice who stole healthcare away from six million Americans. Just like before, he'll decide to keep the federal exchanges. Maybe Kennedy will too. Scalia, Alito and Thomas will definitely rule against the law because they're Internet trolls with lifetime appointments, but ultimately the ACA will remain intact.

Hope I'm right.

Thomas, Scalia and alito are doing what they said they would. No surprise. Thankfully we luck out occasionally with Republican justices who vote with liberals on the court a lot especially Bush I pick and occasionally Oconnor. Thank god no liberal Justice has moved right during their tenure.

They can see via media how the decision fractures the nation amongst "real" Americans. HOWEVER, Roberts will try to thread the needle like he has done before with some legalese to save things for a while, but leave them hanging until the next case. We shall see.
