Tulsa is a great town. We've never had any problems with gay pride day or the parade later in the day.

Tulsa is slightly more liberal than some places in OK, but for some reason, even the Republicans aren't jackasses about LGBT folks.

Google "900 foot Jesus". It won't matter if you get Oral Roberts or the metal band of the same name.
