Hillary for Iowa Opens Five New Organizing Offices, Now Has Nine Across The State

Today, Hillary for Iowa announced the opening of five new organizing offices across the Hawkeye State. The campaign now has nine total organizing offices in Iowa. The new offices are located in Ames, Council Bluffs, Des Moines, Dubuque and Iowa City. Hillary for Iowa organizing offices are already open in Cedar Rapids, Davenport, Sioux City and Waterloo. These offices will be hubs for phone banking, canvassing, organizing meetings and other activities the Hillary for Iowa team hosts across the state.

Hillary for Iowa organizing efforts are engaging Democrats across the state to commit to caucus for Hillary next year. The organizing team is made up of 6 Regional Organizing Directors and 21 Organizers on the ground across the state. The campaign continues to be humbled by the support of Iowans including thousands who have already committed to caucus for Hillary.

“These nine offices across the state are a critical presence in communities so everyday Iowans can get involved in this campaign at the grassroots level,” said Hillary for Iowa State Director Matt Paul. “Each day our organizers are out talking to Iowans about why Hillary Clinton is the champion we need in the White House and they will continue to have those conversations in these offices, in homes, and online.”

I'd also like to point out that HRC and JEB are doing the same things- although he has yet to declare. It's all fundraising from fat cats all the time. In the last 2 months HRC has met with a handful of those regular people she supposedly wants to be a champion for on her so-called "listening tour", but she's met with hundreds if not more of the monied class at high ticket fundraisers. Who is HRC listening too? Duh. The people she's spending all her time with. A Presidential race is now all about sleazy Super PACs and raising obscene amounts of money. But hey, Hillary fits right in to that.

Clinton has always planned to meet with real voters, after initial fundraising and after developing policy pieces over the summer. She'll have months to campaign before voting starts. AND she'll have the financial resources to compete with the Republicans. We'd all like to get money out of politics (nb Hillary talked about appointing SC Justices to overturn CU two weeks before Bernie did) but only an idiot would choose to disarm unilaterally.

But since you weren't going to vote for anyway, this is all moot, right?

But I have pointed out the reason HRC will likely win the primaries besides her enormous lead in the poll is the massive lead she has in endorsements, organization, and money.


These things matter, a lot...

I remember the 84 elections...I was enamored with Gary Hart and felt he would have been a better G E candidate than Mondale but watched him ultimately lose because the party was behind Mondale.
