The Congress does not take an oath to protect and defend the American people...

They take an oath to "protect and defend the Constitution of the United States". There is a difference, A big difference.

It is time for Americans to stop clinging to the apron strings of the NSA and show a little courage.

I am very disappointed in our Democratic Party...

They also ignore the quote by Benjamin Franklin:
“They that can give up essential liberty to obtain a little temporary safety deserve neither liberty nor safety.”

I guess they think it isn't appropriate in this day and age??
