http://blogs.wsj.com/metropolis/2015/05/28/bridget-kellys-lawyers-accusing-christie-administration-of-not-keeping-bridge-scandal-documents/An attorney for one of New Jersey Gov. Chris Christies former associates indicted in the George Washington Bridge lane-closure scandal is accusing the administrations lawyers of not retaining key documents related to the matter.
Michael Critchley, a lawyer representing Bridget Kelly, Mr. Christies former chief of staff, is seeking to subpoena notes created in writing a report released by the governors attorneys last year, according to court papers filed late Wednesday.
The 360-page document known as the Mastro report for its lead author, Randy Mastro, an attorney at Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher was written last year and exonerated Mr. Christie and his current staff members from planning the lane closures. Mr. Christie hired Gibson Dunn to conduct an internal probe into the matter.
Mr. Christie has often pointed to the Mastro report, which also concluded the governor wasnt involved in a cover-up, as a sign that his administration has been thoroughly vetted on the bridge matter. To date, none of the records released as part of the governments 16-month investigation into the September 2013 lane closures has deviated significantly from the reports findings.

He laid the blame at her feet, destroyed her reputation & she knows far too much for Christie to believe he is safe.
Stick a high heel in him Ms Kelly, he is done.

that Gibson Dunn didn't make any records of their "investigation". In fact, this is just the situation they were contemplating when they decided not to keep records or put anyone under oath. It goes back to Volume I of the Crime Digest.
71. No tapes? No transcripts? Just what kind of an investigation was this? Much Ado About Nothing: No Tapes, Transcripts of Mastro Interviews: http://www.njspotlight.com/stories/14/04/09/much-ado-about-nothing-no-tapes-transcripts-of-mastro-interviews/
Critchley is an excellent lawyer and knows exactly what he's doing here. Remember, it's likely he's seen things, like grand jury transcripts and other discovery, that hasn't been made public yet. My take is he's still trying to make life very uncomfortable for individuals in the Christie administration who may have thought they dodged a bullet. I also have no doubt that his client has already been offered some type of plea deal. He's trying to strengthen his position to get a better offer from the U.S. Attorney. That is contingent upon being able to show that Ms. Kelly was less culpable than others (presumably higher up) in Christie's office.
