he needs to establish a huge social media presence.
Set up LIVESTREAMS of events and advertise them on Twitter and other venues.
Highlight positions younger voters will be interested in.
There is more than one way to skin a cat.
Getting a portion of young people out to vote can be huge.

(3,894 posts)The Ed Show was cut short during his speech. I didn't know where to pick it up from that point. Was he live-streaming it? Twitter, Facebook, Instagram...that's how he'll reach the younger crowd. Bombard their social media and his message will resonate. But don't rely on the MSM to reach them, the kids aren't watching.

He is getting coverage... not as much as some here would like. But it cannot be Sanders 24\7
And at least from me, he is getting as much as Carly Fiorina will get when she officially launches. Or any of the rest of the clowns running for President on both sides.

I have seen some complaints about the coverage he was getting. Maybe they weren't here but I have seen some.
The social media use is still Germaine.

(9,463 posts)I have no complaints. There are only two declared candidates for the Democratic nomination and one of them has limited her media access, though I am beginning to see more of her.
And, yes I very much agree, social media is indeed germane and absolutely a necessary component of Bernie's campaign. Or, any campaign for that matter. The candidate who uses it more effectively could win as a result. Bernie has already begun his social media campaign, as can be seen here: https://www.reddit.com/r/IAmA/comments/36j690/i_am_senator_bernie_sanders_democratic_candidate/
