Not sure why they haven't just cancelled the thing yet.

I hope they do cancel.

(10,952 posts)with the repeated usage of the phrase "Touching Little Children Network" might go a long way to show sponsors hot toxic it will become to remain affiliated with the show. No credible company wants to be linked to the concept of molestation and pedophilia.
I also emailed TLC Network as well and did not hold any punches. First they had Honey Boo Boo and they were smart to cancel it as soon as it came out that the mother was dating a pedophile. If they are smart they will do the same thing with the Duggars. Anything less then that is pure hypocrisy.

(10,952 posts)I received a response back from Payless Shoes:
Thank you for reaching out to us with your feedback regarding Payless advertising during the running of "19 Kids and Counting". The concerns and opinions of our customers are important to us, and we thank you for taking the time to express your concerns to our company.
Payless' ads ran during this show as part of a larger buy with TLC. We are taking steps to have them removed from future episodes.
Thank you again for taking the time to share your feedback.

I make sure in every email I send that I refer to the TLC Network as the Touching Little Children Network and that I spell it out at least twice in every email.

(10,952 posts)I pointed out the fact that the Duggar parents covered up their son's crimes and did they really want to be forever known as the Touching Little Children Network forever?

(24,411 posts)It's important to do that, and I hope others do as well.
Seriously. I cannot even believe that TLC hasn't cancelled that sick show.
I will happily contact sponsors, if TLC is too fucking stupid to try to keep a show on the air that includes a bunch of victims of molestation, a perpetrator and two evil parents who didn't protect their children and instead tried to cover all of this up. How in the hell do they think that's a show!!

the only reason to NOT cancel is money. So the almighty buck allows you to take a shameful "wait and see" approach when a family covers up pedophilia, never gets the victims help, lies about getting the perpetrator help--and covers for the perp for years?
They fucking knew he had molested girls in that family, and they did nothing for an entire year.
Their solutions were to hide Josh at a friend's house who did home remodeling, then take him to speak to a cop who was also a pedophile.
Then, they place him back in the home with his victims.
People are angry at Josh--but what about those disgusting parents who did nothing to protect their girls, who needed help, counseling and treatment. Those parents are sick!!
And TLC has to think about this for a bit longer? That network has some serious problems. Their brand has been destroyed and every day they wait to cancel that sick show--is more damage for them.
Who is advising them? No one who knows what they are doing!
