The NFL is a much different game than college in terms of speed, complexity of schemes, and physicality. Not every college star can make the transition just as not every high school star can make the transition to college level play.
Some outstanding NFL players first spent time in the CFL and this could be Michael Sam's opportunity to progress in his skill set and perhaps get another shot at the NFL. Best of luck to him!
