(7,754 posts)campaign schedule is totally crazy. No other country campaigns for over 2 years. She is doing what she should. Going out and talking to real Americans about what their concerns are. Screw the press. They only want scandal, they don't want news.
Exilednight
(9,359 posts)so she doesn't have to give answers to us?!?! Do they really expect us to expect answers on such issues as TPP, the NSA, social security, or education so that we may make an educated decision!?!?

(7,754 posts)so much noise. By the time the primary comes around everyone will be sick of them. There is no hurry. We are the only country that campaigns for 2 years. Most countries it's a couple of months.

(146,317 posts)in the next few months. That criticism doesn't hold any water at all.
Right now, she's in a very low key phase of the campaign. It's her campaign, and she'll do it however she and her advisers want it done.
There will be many press questions and many answers to those questions. Just maybe not when people insist they happen.

(30,481 posts)I absolutely love how she has made the idiots on the right make a big deal out of it. She has proven that she controls their actions and is in control. She actually controlled a lot of their message over the last couple of weeks. They are too stupid to understand this.

She is still on the fence on the TPP, won't answer.
On having earned $25 Million since 2014, she said they remember their roots and want granddaughter to have chances to live up to her God-given potential.
On sleazy friends, she said "I have many old friends
I'm going to keep talking to my old friends no matter who they are."

It seems that people care more about what a candidate looks like than their policies, so I'll remove the direct link to the picture depicting a worried candidate under fire.
It's available by looking at the history of this reply.

Do you have the direct exchange from this presser? She was asked about Benghazi. That should lift your spirits.

I really would have preferred the image above where she's surrounded by reporters and not looking particularly confident.
We need a better candidate, plain and simple.
And a video, just for kicks, about raising taxes on the rich.

(30,481 posts)You probably don't even know why that is so awesome. lol.
"She said in 2007 that certain reforms such as cutting benefits, privatizing the program or raising the retirement age were "off the table."

(30,481 posts)I love how it reflects on you.
I also love these right wing idiots who have made an issue out of this. She played them like fools. She controlled a lot of their message over the last month. Right wing morons taking the bait. Great start to a campaign.

(68,644 posts)Successfully treated by cutting out an egg size piece of skull, or bone flap.
In June an infection required debridement, total resurgery.
In November the bone flap was removed because it was rotten and septic.
This past March they installed a filler piece made of PEEK and now I'm a bit better.
Over $1,000,000 in charges, the best brain and plastic surgeons in the country, thanks to ObamaCare.
Better now!
In the image below you can see the crescent shaped area where the bone flap was decomposing. Ick.

(11,589 posts)Hillary Clinton said Tuesday she will wait until negotiations are completed to take a position on the sweeping Asia-Pacific trade deal being negotiated by the Obama administration.
So, I have said I want to judge the final agreement, she said during a campaign stop in Cedar Falls, Iowa. I have been for trade agreements. I have been against trade agreements.

Welcome to Primary Season, during which we advocate for our candidate and if that requires knocking down the industry favorite, so be it.
NCTraveler
(30,481 posts)That is the cross you bear. lol.
"Looks don't matter anyway. "
This is great. I love your posts. The difficulty in placing the pic that went with the article is clear from the timeline of posts. It wasn't difficult. The pasting thing gets a lot of us. My question, why was a pic even necessary to add to your comment. It did nothing for it at all. It has no bearing. At all. And it came from a completely different article. Transparent.

(19,877 posts)Primary season doesn't have to be as dickish as you want it to be. If your posts are reflective of today's progressives, it makes the case why progressives lose.

(68,644 posts)It shows an understandably worried candidate, IMO.
The original pic with that article did not have a postable URL, but this one in the sidebar did.
Still, your point is well taken. In my defense I'm always talking about issues, including posting the content.
The OP didn't provide a single link.
I posted an article with all of the questions and answers and for that I get criticized (not by you, particularly).
Credit for that, the actual substance and a link, is due, IMHO.

(9,126 posts)Anything taken with a telephoto lens in unflattering light is going to look bad. Since HRC supporters want to attack Bernie for his age and "grumpy old grandpa lack of charisma", we don't have to jump on that bandwagon. It's the issues and her nonanswers are enough for people to get the picture.
JaneyVee
(19,877 posts)Who claimed any of that about Sanders? Its the Sanders crew projecting that nonsense about Hillary.

(7,754 posts)said she would. It's dishonest and totally a bullying tactic. She has 18+ months to answer questions so she doesn't need to be in a hurry. No matter what she says, the "press" (as opposed to reporters or news which we don't have any more) will always twist it to say what they want her to have said.
I love Bernie. If he gets the nomination I will vote for him. If Hillary gets it, I will proudly vote for her also.

(9,070 posts)I really wish one of the late night hosts would walk around asking people to explain Hillary scandals back to the days of Whitewater, much less the current crop of made-up junk. That would be funny.
Hillary could answer questions 24-7 until November of 2016 and never satisfy any of the "bashers"! Does anyone really care if Blumenthal wrote her an email? The press get 5 questions and they ask about Sydney Blumenthal???
