This decision means Maryland has to pay me back for unconstitutional taxes it has imposed on me since 2006.

1. A few more details:

Maryland residents who work out of state and so pay income tax in two or more states get charged a county tax that doesn't take into account the income tax they pay in other states. That violates the dormant commerce clause because it gives an unfair advantage to Maryland businesses, or so SCOTUS ruled.

Being forced to pay income tax in two states is unfair anyways. I pay full income tax in Delaware (where I work) and almost full income tax in Maryland (where I live).
