Bill O'Reilly: Domestic abuse allegation '100% false'

http://www.politico.com/blogs/media/2015/05/bill-oreilly-domestic-abuse-allegation-false-207335.html

Bill O'Reilly says the allegation that he physically assaulted his ex-wife is '100% false.'

"All allegations against me in these circumstances are 100% false," the Fox News host said in a statement to the On Media blog, issued through his personal attorney. "I am going to respect the court-mandated confidentiality put in place to protect my children and will not comment any further."

Gawker's J.K. Trotter reported Monday that O'Reilly had been accused of physical assault during a three-year custody battle with his ex-wife, Maureen McPhilmy. "A court-appointed forensic examiner testified at a closed hearing that O’Reilly’s daughter claimed to have witnessed her father dragging McPhilmy down a staircase by her neck, apparently unaware that the daughter was watching." Trotter's report cited "a source familiar with the facts of the case."

O'Reilly and McPhilmy were legally divorced in 2011. Their custody dispute ended three weeks ago, with McPhilmy winning custody of their two minor children.

*********

The man (Bill O'Reilly) has been caught lying so many times it is not funny, he tried to have phone
sex with a scared subordinate as he had a buzz toy up his backside, and now charges of being a
wife beater but still Fox will keep him on the air because of how he pushes the propaganda.

They usually take these allegations seriously and investigate. They could easily get to a kid to admit lying if that were the case. The mother own custody for a reason.

I wonder what it means? It's the sort of nonessential qualifier that makes one wonder if it doesn't totally negate the sense of his denial.

might not be "100% false" (i.e. assault occurred in different circumstances)?

full of verbal and emotional abuse. I didn't add physical abuse before because there were no citations back then, but the verbal/emotional are minimally precursors of the physical if not totally accompanying, which we now can say they were. We're not in court, so we can skip the "presumed to be innocent" part.

Then who was this woman he was dragging down a staircase by her neck?

How many women has Bill O'Reilly dragged down a staircase by their neck?

Falafel Loofah needs to answer a lot of questions.
