the rich think the poor are poor because they aren't trying hard enough. And they don't want to help poor people, because, they have theirs, screw the poor.

I have friends who think that way.

I make decent money, certainly not uber-wealthy, but whenever I see anyone in need, I help.

My thinking is the opposite of the cartoon. I may be helping someone who is gaming the system, but if I help one person who needs it, it's worth it.

every day -- their secretaries, gofers, caddies, etc. Those people simply don't exist except as robots/slaves to do the shit work.
