As a disclaimer, this list is based on Transparency International's annual rankings for 2014. The countries on this list range from failed states to emerging democracies. While most are undergoing civil unrest and political instability, the unifying factor here is widespread political and economic corruption. These are 25 of the most corrupt countries in the world.

Cambodia, Syria, Iraq and Afghanistan. I can only recommend Cambodia at this point. Very beautiful country.
