Here's how that math works: Our NBC/Wall Street Journal pollsters asked whether specific candidate traits would make a respondent "enthusiastic," "comfortable," "have reservations" or "uncomfortable."
By subtracting the positive responses from the negative ones, we can get a pretty good picture of what the most acceptable and unacceptable traits might be for a presidential candidate.

I'd like to see one on issues:
Supports an increased minimum wage.
Supports a stronger military.
Supports marriage equality.
Supports stronger borders.
^^^ these are issues and policy questions that we need to be discussing.

(8,352 posts)We need to find a Democratic candidate who is a female bi-racial Hispanic African American under the age of 50 who has military experience, has been a governor and a senator, but must be both a Catholic AND a lesbian, and it would help if she has a family member who was once a President.
