President Obama participated in a virtual field trip with students today. He spoke about his post-presidential plans and what people can do to help others, but it was when he talked about writers block that got probably the biggest laughs.
The president talked at some length about writing before his 6th-grade moderator jumped in to say, I think youve sort of covered everything about that.
Obama realized he was being cut off and laughed as he allowed the moderator to move on.
I love Obama's surprised but amused answer.

(20,582 posts)I disagree very strongly with a lot of President Obama's foreign policies but he's got such an endearing personality, his sense of humour is great. This student will never forget his kindness, I'm sure.

(1,074 posts)Indicates his limited world, lack of understanding by asking group "who wrote something" and says "I did" as if POTUS is only sitting around contemplating writing day in and day out like 6th graders. In fact the 6th grader was schooled by this POTUS, in a very charming way.
